Travis Carricato
Travis is founder and president of E-Med Training Services. He is a Battalion Chief with the City of Columbia Fire Department, with over 17 years of service. He is also a Task Force Leader for South Carolina's Urban Search and Rescue Team, SC-TF1. Independent from E-Med and on behalf of the National Safety Council, he provided Emergency Care Course training in Saudi Arabia, China, and Kuwait and was formally recognized by the International Safety Council for his “extraordinary commitment and support” of NSC’s global efforts. December 2010, Travis was selected as a presenter at the 2010 Emergency Cardiovascular Care Update Conference in San Diego, sharing his expertise with implementing the 2010 AHA CPR guideline updates.


Jeremy Boyle

Jeremy is a Captain on E-12 a Hazmat Response Company with the Columbia Fire Department. Having over 14 years of service, he’s served more than 10 of those on CFD's Hazmat 1/ E-1. Jeremy is also a hazmat specialist on SC-TF1 and is a COBRA team member. With advanced Hazardous Materials training from all over the US, Jeremy teaches both Emergency Care Programs and ALL Hazards Hospital First Receiver Programs. Most recently, Jeremy has been a featured speaker at several Hazmat symposiums on Hydrogen Cyanide poisoning resulting from firefighting incidents.


Durham DeLaura

Durham is a FF/ Rescue Technician on R-1 with the City of Columbia. With previous experience from Irmo Fire District, he has over 7 years of service


Robert Hughes
Robert is a fire Equipment Operator on HazMat/E-1 with the City of Columbia and has over 8 years of service. He also is a SC Fire Academy Adjunct instructor and is heavily involved in CFD’s Firefighter Recruit Program.


Jason Krusen
Jason is the Captain on Haz-Mat 1 at the Columbia Fire Department, with over 15 years of experience. He has an Associate's Degree in Fire Service Administration from Midlands Technical College (SC), and is nearly complete a Bachelors Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering from the University of Cincinnati (OH). Jason is a Planning Manager with State Urban Search and Rescue Team, SC-TF1. He has attended the Hospital Emergency Response Training, HERT/MCI (B461) course held at the Noble Training Center in Anniston, AL., as well as several other National Consortium classes across the US. Jason is the Project Manager for the E-Med Hospital First Receiver Program training. His response to various large scale incidents including the Graniteville (SC) Train Derailment and Hurricane Katrina (LA), have helped to enhance Jason as an All Hazards Instructor. Most recently, Jason is a featured speaker, lecturing at several Hazmat symposiums on Hydrogen Cyanide poisoning resulting from firefighting incidents.


Jonah Smith
Jonah is a Captain with the City of Charlotte and a professor with Fayetteville State University in the Fire Science Program. Jonah has recently been assigned to Charlotte’s Hazmat Response Team.


Don Townley
Don is a FF/ Rescue Technician on Rescue 1 with the City of Columbia. He is also owner of Firehouse Services, one of South Carolina’s few certified bunker gear repair service organizations. Don is also a Rescue Technician for SC-TF1's US&R team.
